About Me

   My name is Iliana and I am 17 years old. I am a senior attending Los Angeles Senior
High School and I plan to go to college right after. I want to attend a 2-year junior/community college
(possibly Santa Monica College, West LA, or Glendale) and after that, I plan to transfer into a
4-year college/university (most likely Rhode Island College or NYU). I'd like, most of all, to attend a music school. I plan to study music in order to become a musical therapist. And if music doesn't work out well, I'd like to attend a regular college/university and study to be a social worker. I honestly just want to work in an industry where I get to help people, whether it's children, families, or the elderly.

    Aside from my ambitions, though, here's a little bit more about me. I have two older
brothers, and an older sister (which makes me the baby of the family). I like to play basketball
during my free time sometimes, and I enjoy watching sports just as much (mainly football,
basketball, and even hockey). Something I enjoy doing the most during my free time, and most of
all, is playing guitar. I often look up tutorials on YouTube, and use those videos to help me
improve my skills. I also play the piano and once learned to play the basics of the
drums, but that was a one/two-time thing.

    The reason for my ambitions after high school, are mainly because of my family. They've all
done so much for me, and I want to be able to make them proud. I want to be able to provide for them
a beautiful home in a less scary neighborhood. I honestly want to repay them for what they have all done for me because I truly appreciate every single thing. It'd be nice to see the proud looks on their
faces. That at least one person learned from each of their individual mistakes, and was able to graduate college and have a career that they love.
